McPherson, Kan. – The Central Christian College of Kansas Women's Volleyball team hosted the John Brown University Golden Eagles in their second to last home match of the season. The Tigers were looking to change their fortunes from the previous match against OCU.
The first set was back and forth until it was knotted up at 15-15 and it looked like the set could go either way. This was until John Brown pulled off a 15-4 run to win the set 25-19. The Tigers looked to respond in the second set and they did by scoring 8 straight points to take a 10-4 lead early in the second set. John Brown responded with 10 unanswered points of their own and never looked back. The Golden Eagles would go on to win the set 25-16 and taking a 2-0 advantage in the match. The Tigers seemed to have no answer for the Golden Eagles as they continued executing their attack. JBU found themselves up 16-13 when they scored 6 straight points to all but put the match away.
