Newton, Kan. – The Central Christian College Tiger Golf team wrapped up their fall season at Sand Creek Station in Newton, Kansas this past Monday. The tournament was shortened to 36 holes in one day for both the Men and the Women due to inclement weather on the way.
The Tiger Men were paced by Freshman
Jacob Montano with a first round even-par 72. As a team, Central shot 300 and put them near the top of the pack going into the second round.
Jacob Montano led the Tigers again in the second round with a 3-over 75 giving him a two-round total of 147. This was good enough to give him a 6
th place finish individually. The Tigers shot 307 in the second round for a total of 607 for the two rounds and landed them in 4
th place overall out of 13 teams.
