Siloam Springs, Ark. – The Central Christian College women's basketball team was back in action on Thursday night, on the road against the John Brown University Golden Eagles.
The Tigers struggled offensively for three quarters, scoring a total of 23 points in that 30 minute stretch. They had their best offensive output in the final 10 minutes of action where they scored 20 points.
Defensively they were unable to do much to slow down the Golden Eagle offense, and JBU ran away with the contest by a score of 83-43.
By the Numbers
For the game, the Tiger offense went 12-47 (26%) from the floor.
They were better from beyond the three point arc in this game, making 8 of 31 (26%).
They went 11-15 (73%) from the free throw line.
The Golden Eagles won the battle of the boards 46 to 26, and also the turnover battle 8 to 14.
Abigail Contreras was the only Tiger to score in double figures, she led the team with a season high 14 points.

Next Up
The Tigers will play their third and final game of the week on Saturday at the friendly confines of Jerry Alexander Arena. They will host the Oklahoma City University Stars on Ellis Odermann court at 2:00 pm.
