OKLAHOMA CITY, OKLAHOMA – The Lady Tigers concluded their season today on the road against Mid-America Christian University. The Evangels swept the Tigers 3-0, (25-7, 25-13, 25-12).

MATCH SUMMARY

1^st Set

MACU starts off with a 6-0 run, before the Tigers Taylor Jurado blocked a kill attempt and put the Tigers on the board. The Evangels went on a 19-6 run to conclude the set, and Tigers struggled on offense as the Evangels got a side out each time the Tigers scored.

MACU had 15 kills and only 2 errors as they hit .419 on 31 attempts.

Central managed 3 kills, but had 5 errors as they hit -.100 on 20 attempts.

2^nd Set

The Evangels got off to a hot start again in set 2 after going up 13-4. Tigers managed to go back and forth over the next couple of possessions, with Evangels leading 17-8. MACU scored 4 points in row, before the Tigers showed their best offense scoring 3 points in a row to get to double digits. MACU still with the large lead closes out the set 25-13.

3^rd Set

The Tigers began the 3^rd set a bit better, managing the game to a 9-5 deficit. The Evangels, however went on a 7-0 run to put the game out of reach, 16-5. Tigers and Evangels went back and forth the rest of the match as the Evangels close out the game 25-12 and sweep the Tigers.

Overall the Evangels held the advantage in kills (47-10), attempts (94-70), and hitting percentage (.383 - .029). The Tigers held the advantage in errors (8-11) and aces (4-2).
