HAYS, KANSAS – In the game of the two Tigers', the Fort Hays Tigers had the upper hand in this one, taking the game 82-40.
GAME SUMMARY
Fort Hays dominated the game from start to finish, the Tigers were limited to 11 points in the 1
st half due to 23.8% shooting from the floor including go for 0-11 from beyond the arc. The Fort Hays Tigers, however shot just above 50% and hit 6 three's in route to a 44 point quarter. Fort Hays takes the lead 44-11 heading to the 2
nd half.
At 4:48 minutes remaining in the game, Fort Hays built a 52 point lead at 77-24. The Central Christian Tigers closed on a positive note as they nearly doubled their total for the night closing on a 16-5 run and at the end of the game, Fort Hays walked away with a 82-40 victory.
Isaiah Rivera was the lone Tiger to score in double digits with 11 points on 5-8 shooting and going 1-1 from the line. Overall, the Tigers shot 16-51 (31.4%) from the floor and hit 4 three's all in the 2
nd half and went 4-12 (33.3%) from the free throw line.
