SILOAM SPRINGS, ARKANSAS – Natalie Smith of the Golden Eagles scores 18 points on 7-12 shooting in route to the Golden Eagles (4-4) win over the Lady Tigers (1-7), 81-52.
MATCH SUMMARY
Lady Tigers keep it close in the first quarter with Golden Eagles taking the slight lead 20-18 thru the first ten minutes. Tigers shot just under 50% going 6-13 from the floor, including 3-three pointers.
Golden Eagles began to separate themselves in the second quarter as Tigers go cold shooting, going 2-15 scoring a total of 5 points and the Golden Eagles scoring 16. Golden Eagles take the 36-23 lead heading to half.
The third quarter continued in the Golden Eagles favor as they hit 5-three pointers in route to a 27 point quarter, offensively the Tigers improved from the previous quarter, but still fall 14 points short of John Brown. Tigers head to the 4
th quarter down 63-36.
The Tigers would end how they started and kept the quarter close, with JBU edging out the Tigers 18-16 in the quarter and fall 81-52 to the Golden Eagles.
Lady Tigers go to 1-7, 0-2 SAC.
