CENTRAL CHRISTIAN QUOTES
Head Coach
Tony Romero
"I thought our guys battled tonight versus a very good opponent, Tarleton State. We had a bad stretch at the end of the first and beginning of the second half that was the difference in the game. Their pressure was non-stop for 40 minutes. We had some moments where we handled it and some where we didn't. Our number one key was how we were going to handle their physical pressure."
"When we were able to set our defense, we were difficult to score on at times. We were able to draw 4-5 shot clock violations, which was a positive."
"For being out sized down low, I thought our front line guys did a good job making it tough for them. I was especially happy with
Byron Staten. Playing games like this puts our guys and program in a position to improve."
"We are looking forward to a few great days of practice in preparation for our classic this weekend."
