PLAINVIEW, Texas – Lady Tigers fall victim to 2
nd half rally as Wayland Baptist defeats the Tigers 2-1.
The Blue & Gold had the upper hand in the 1
st half after
Alexa Riddle hit a shot from 10 yards out, thanks to the assist by Teammate
Lisette Whiteside. The Tigers would ride the lead for the next 40 minutes until the Flying Queens would score 2 goals in a span of about 10 minutes.
Tigers held the advantage on shots 14-11, shots-on-goal 7-4, and corner kicks 1-0. Unfortunately, the ending score wouldn't hold the advantage in the Tigers favor as they lose their 3
rd straight SAC game and fall to 7-3, (0-3 SAC).

Head Coach
Cole Ouren
"Today's game is a difficult one to swallow. I do not feel that we were beaten but that we gave the game away. We played extremely well in the first half and in spurts of the second. Unfortunately we made 2 mistakes and Wayland was able to capitalize. With that, I am proud of the players for fighting until the end and giving us a chance to tie the game. Regardless, the players are continuing to work hard and the coaching staff must reflect and make the necessary adjustments to help better position the players to gain a result."
