Game Recap: Men's Basketball |

Hot Shooting Tigers extend their win streak to 4

McPherson, KS – Hot shooting Tigers extend win streak to 4 games.

Tigers for the 6th time this year have outscored their opponents by double digits and for the 4th time they have won by 20+.

Tigers and the Barclay Bears would meet for the 2nd time this year with the previous game being won by the Tigers 84-73 on a neutral floor in Manhattan. This time the Tigers got the home court advantage and the Bears couldn't keep up.

From the jump the Tigers controlled the game and built an early double digit lead by the 10 minute mark in the 1st. The game would never get back to within single digits as the Tigers would completely dominate the floor. After the 1st half the Tigers already built a comfortable lead 47-32.

Going into the 2nd half, the Tigers would continue right where they left off and would drain 3 – 3 pointers to begin the half and quickly dwindle the Bears hopes for any thought of a comeback. Bears would have a couple of runs where they would start to gain traction, but the Tigers would continually have answers and go on their own runs to keep the game out of reach. Tigers dominate and win over the Barclay Bears for the 2nd time this year and improve to 6-1.

Tiger's offense would have their best 1st half all season going 19-29 (65.52%) from the field including 5 triples. Tigers 2nd half would be as hot, but the team would still put up stellar numbers going 18-39 (46.15%) from the field and would add another 7 triples to their total. Tigers end the night going over 50% from the field and would go 12-32 from beyond the arc.

Jr. Guard Demario Moore leads the Tigers with 21 points and his first double-double of the season collecting 12 boards. Jr. Point Guard Isaiah Rivera would have a solid performance adding 18 points including 3-3 3PT and Isaiah would be 1 assist shy of accomplishing a double-double. 2 more starters would score in double figures for the Tigers Reece Warren and Byron Staten would both score 13 points on the night.

Tigers will now gear up for conference play taking on Southwestern Christian University (away) on Thursday and Oklahoma City University on Saturday (home).

Go Tigers!
