Goodwell, Oklahoma – Central Christian Lady Tigers drop first SAC game of the year, 69-49, to the Oklahoma Panhandle State Aggies.
Central Christian in their previous game dominated Manhattan Christian 85-33, in which they would make an incredible 19 3-Pointer's.
The Lady Tigers in today's contest got off to a slow start falling into an early deficit 16-5 after the 1st quarter and couldn't get themselves out of their hole. The Tigers would play the 2nd and 4th quarters close to their opponents, but the 1st and 3rd quarters would tell the story of the game as the Tigers would be outscored in the 1st and 3rd 31-14 compared to their 2nd and 4th quarter performance with the difference only being 3 points 38-35.
Tigers had a tough night shooting as they would only shoot 30% from the floor and struggled beyond the arc. Panhandle would do well on their home court as they shot 44% from the floor and won the 3 point contest 7-2.
Senior Point Guard Tania Lowe would have a solid performance tallying 12 points on the night. Teammate Destiny Broussard would score 10 points and an incredible 15 rebounds on the night to earn a double-double.
Tigers look forward to redeeming themselves Saturday, January 16th when they take on USAO in Chickasha, Ok.
