We are in a great position to shock some people and show them what the new and improved Women's Tiger Volleyball Program can do. We know what we need to work on and we are only going to go up from here. Expect great things from this team."
The Tigers started out strong but the Swedes came back to win the first set. The tigers started the second set a little cold, getting down 8-1 but went on a six to one run to get back within two. The tigers ultimately lost the set 25-19. The Tigers came out with some authority in the third set and kept it close throughout. They went on to lose the final set 25-22.

"We had really strong serving runs and many great plays! Even though we didn't get a W we learned a lot and we can only grow more from this day. I am so proud of the team for stepping up in new positions and different line ups. I can't wait to see what God has in store for us next!" said senior
Marissa Waddel.
Head Coach
Ryan Webb had this to say on the performance this afternoon: "I feel that we executed very well for the first game of the season. We now how a foundation to build upon. I am proud of the freshman who came in ready to play with little to no nerves present. It was nice to see our practices come to life."
