Fort Worth, TX – The Central Christian College Lady Tigers (2-12) concluded their fall season tonight down in Texas, as they took on Sooner Athletic Conference opponent Texas Wesleyan.
Tigers still awaiting for their new coach Rick Hughes to take over the program turned to Athletic Director
Kyle Moody to step up as Interim Head Coach for the 2
nd straight game.
The recent coaching change has been a work in progress for the Lady Tigers, as they have been patient during the process and unfortunately took a loss in their first match with the new coach.
The Tigers struggles would continue to show in their preview game, as the Rams took advantage of the many Tiger miscues. The Rams have historically been a top seed in the SAC and wouldn't let up on the Tigers all night. The Lady Tigers would shine in moments for the game, but couldn't put together a full set. They would go down in 3 straight sets 25-14, 25-5, & 25-8 awarding the Rams a sweep as they improve their record to 4-1.
Tigers will conclude their fall season 2-12, but have many things to look forward to as they will turn the reigns over to Coach Rick Hughes to lead the program.
Tiger will be back in action in the spring semester as they will start SAC games and compete to play in the SAC championship.
Go Tigers!
